What is Predator technology?

The Predator subsystems are a suite of hardware and software technologies. Each subsystem is designed and engineered to work in conjunction with each other or operate completely independent of one another, depending upon the specific goals and requirements of the customer.

The Predator iView™ Mobile Camera system is designed to be controlled and manipulated from anywhere in the world via the World Wide Web using our Predator iCIC software suite. However, the iView can be fully controlled and manipulated by the operator and viewed by others when using its own embedded web service. The iView also communicates through its own embedded 802.11g transceiver with a customer supplied wireless access point. The unit is powered by a rechargeable, lightweight battery subsystem that will provide 8 hours of typical run time depending upon usage. iView is designed to be completely broken down to only the camera system itself for tight space demanding applications, while still maintaining its ability to provide visual clarity back to the viewer.

The Predator iCIC software subsystem is a native ASP.Net based set of software tools that allows for various functionality within a web-based portal application. This functionality can include, but is not limited to tools such as project management, inventory control, process management, fulfillment, shipment, camera system viewing and controls and much more. Portals, developed using Predator subsystems will normally carry the “Powered by Predator” logo.

The patented Predator iView™ Camera was engineered and developed by Team TSI specifically to be used in a military aircraft maintenance environment which would allow a technician to communicate via wireless real-time audio & video using a hand held camera to communicate with a project manager many miles away. In this engineering process, the need for an easy-to-use Camera Control Web App was developed to allow the control of multiple fixed and handheld cameras in one screen.
